Elephants are fastidious peaceful animals, as long as you don't chaos with them in the time of mating. Small elephants are still cuter but we have a rare chance to see the elephant directly after it is born.
Typically, elephant is born after 22-month long pregnancy and it weights anout 100 kilograms. However now and then even elephants need to give a birth previous to the usual time. Here you can see a photograph of a very cute newborn elephant baby which was born previous to usual time in some unknown zoo.
Actually - this is a foetus - it was not born at all. This foetus was found in the dead carcass of the mother in South Africa.
